Electric Aggregation Savings Could Be Tenfold, or One-Hundred Fold: Aldermen
Cost savings from possible electric aggregation by the City for Elmhurst residents should be tenfold or even one hundred fold, according to some aldermen.
“We’d better save tenfold of the $2 cost per year per resident,” said Chris Healy (5th Ward). “If the referendum passes (on March 20th general primary election ballot) we will only do it (electric aggregation plan) if it saves money. Based on what has happened in Oak Park, the savings should more than offset the consultant fee.”

HOLIDAY LIGHTS COLLECTION ENDS FEBRUARY 1
The City of Elmhurst and the Elmhurst Park District are partnering with SCARCE (School & Community Assistance for Recycling & Composting Education) and Elgin Recycling for their third annual holiday lights recycling program, with a goal of recycling more than 100,000 pounds of holiday lights.
Elmhurst residents are invited to drop off holiday lights at one of the following locations: - Courts Plus, 186 S. West Avenue - Wagner Community Center, 615 N. West Avenue - City Hall, 209 N. York St. Look for the bins with the "Holiday Lights" stickers.
